Introduction to Creaton Spirituality
Creation Spirituality is an ancient wisdom, revitalized for the emerging hunger for fresh approaches to spiritual life. Based on the teachings of Matthew Fox, Meister Ekhart, Rumi, and other mystics from multiple traditions, this workshop will explore Creation Spirituality and discuss the Four Paths.
We will cover the basic components as developed by Mathew Fox at The University of Creation Spirituality (now Wisdom University). These components include reinvention of work, deep ecumenism, mystics, new cosmology, etc.). We will also engage in some fresh rituals of connection and experiment with some art-as-meditation.
This workshop will be facilitated by three students of Matthew Fox and graduates of University of Creation Spirituality/Wisdom University, Rev. Drs. Priscilla Denham and Calen Rayne, and Theresa Gleason, LCSW, D.Min. All are members of core faculty at Peace Lake.

Drum Building as Spiritual Practice
The Retreat begins on Thursday evening with the Setting of Intention at the Drumming Prayer Circle. Carol Snowswan Vaccariello, D. Min., LPC has assisted in the building of hundreds of drums. Red Tail Hawk, Tarahumaras Indian taught and commissioned Carol to teach others to make drums.
Come join in a time of reflection and retreat while creating a sacred drum and becoming one with the Great Heartbeat. Be a part of the solution and healing for the deep sadness and troubles facing each of us in our world today. You will do heart work as you create and watch the work of your hands manifest in your drum. The drums are single sided hoop drums made with all natural materials: maple hoop and cow hide.
Those who choose to build drums are encouraged to begin the process during the Thursday evening Drumming Prayer Circle and complete the drum on Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Closing Circle & Drum Blessing Ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Friday evening

Dream Institute:
Exploring Dreams Through Creative Expression
Module One: Dreaming and Creative Writing
Every night, we are Dream-artists of astonishing abilities. We cast actors, develop plots, paint scenery, develop mysteries, write dialogues of poetry and /or clarifying insight. We are graphic, witty, uninhibited, consummate crafters of our art. In this workshop, we will explore ways our inner artist can facilitate the gifts of our waking artist. We will use movement, meditation, and color to loosen and focus.
We will begin with an overview of basic methods of projective dream work. We will then enter the dreams through a variety of exercises and WRITE. Please come to the workshop with one or two dreams you are willing to share for group work. As in any Dream Group, confidentiality and/or anonymity will be the maintained. You might also consider movement-friendly clothing. Module One led by Rev. Dr. Priscilla Denham, a member of core faculty at Peace Lake.
